This was the perfect ending to a perfect season, especially because it didn’t feel like an ending at all, but a whole new beginning.
Before talking about the characters and relationships, some random bits that I loved:
- Schmidt is always hilarious, but especially when he’s being cornered or when he’s done something bad. He looks like a guilty little puppy and it’s so fun and adorable. (“Was I? - Yes - Was I? - YES. - ………. was I? - SCHMIDT!”) LOL.
- When Cotton Eye Joe started playing, I nearly peed my pants. Not only has this song been a running gag between my brother, my sister and me for years, but the situation was just hysterical. And when Schmidt started dancing I was on the floor. I think I spent the next couple hours humming the song and head banging to it. Like Nick said, it’s so damn catchy!
- Nick and Jess listening to Cotton Eye Joe in his car and Jess asking, “Why did you need me for this?” I’m just picturing Nick going, “Hey Jess, could you come with me for a bit? I have to do something.” And then this happens. LOL, so random.
You are a beautiful white man, Nick Miller.

some scientists agree that if you saw a clone of yourself, you wouldn’t recognise it as you, because our idea of what we look like is so different from what we actually look like
